The institute inaugurated Anvaya – The
Social Responsibility Club in the academic
year 2020 - 21 under the initiative of Prof.
Dr. Smita Shukla, Dr. Aruna Deshpande, Dr.
Naina Salve.
In Sanskrit, Anvaya stands for an
unwritten agreement that naturally exists
between two entities. Just like there is no
smoke without fire, there is no "Business"
without the "Environment and Society" at
large.
With a focus on acknowledging the
importance of Social Responsibility at the
institute level, ADMIFMS resolves to
uniquely position its graduates to lead
responsibly and empathetically in the
diverse and multifaceted world we live in
today.
The club encourages students to embark
their journey towards corporate philanthropy
and endorses the impact a business has on
the society and environment at a strategic
level and is experimental about amalgamating
social responsibility with academic
curriculum.
Students inculcate virtues of social
sensitivity, develop an environment-first
driven mindset which are most sought after
qualities in the corporate world and society
at large.
Students have the opportunities to build
on project management skills, budgeting, and
communication skills.
The year 2020-21 saw a plethora of
events such as Tree Plantation Drive at
Sanjay Gandhi National Park, The Milk Bag
Project, webinar on Covid 19 awareness
program, webinar on cyber safety, Yoga for
health and well-being, Indian Army. The club
has collaborated with renowned NGOs like Art
of Living, Covid19 Helping Hands,
Nisargyatri Sanstha, Clean Mumbai
Foundation, Garbage Free India and
Earth4ever Conservation Foundation.
